A Campaign By The NJ Work Environment Council
Safety and Security First
Protect our jobs, families and hometowns from toxic chemical disasters

“Without basic safety and security,
everything else we care about is
at risk.” - Senator Jon Corzine
during his campaign for Governor

An accident or a terrorist attack on a chemical plant or railcar could endanger thousands of lives. Corporate executives and their lobbyists must not be allowed to put even higher profits ahead of worker and public safety and security. New Jersey must require chemical plants and other industries that use hazardous chemicals to operate safely and securely.
